Have we ever done a Bernadette Peters album?
I don't know who that is
Have you seen The Jerk?
Or done it?

This one's slightly odd.
Very variety showtune.

Re: The Four Tops - Reach Out (1967)
This sounds very like something that would've been written for Stevie Wonder to do.

He'd've'd made a better fist of it IMHO.

Re: The Four Tops - Reach Out (1967)
The Stevie Wonder album I did a playlist for is much much better than this.

Re: The Four Tops - Reach Out (1967)
It is over.
It was an album of two parts. The parts that were melodramatic were clearly better than the parts that were more pop-infused.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I shall give it 4 stars because we don't have a 3.75 option.

Re: The Four Tops - Reach Out (1967)
I feel that there's not a lot say.
But I'm going to say it anyway.
The Four Tops were never my favourite of the Motown big-hitters (a bit one-track and overly reliant on Levi Stubbs's hoarse one-track vocal stylings).
To me, the Motown roster of male singers had many more superior, albeit less distinctive, vocalists.
Obviously Marvin and Stevie were heads and shouldersI didn't know you had dandruff I don't above Roots, but there were others.
There were others.
Another.
A sister.
