Milk, when it's on the turn but doesn't smell sour yet, doesn't curdle the moment you pour some in a cup of tea (or, heaven forfend, coffee) anymore.

For me that phenomenon is very much still happening, for example with a carton of UHT which didn't survive the night the last time I couldn't get any ice from the supermarket.
