I was listening to a bit of Coil, and they seem to be about a year/ 8 months behind the times, this sort of bangy 1982 stuff combined with the first 12" mix of Relax, then going all Acid House in 1989, and glitchy a year after Ambient 4: Isolationism CD.

Which is fine if the fans didn't keep saying how it was them and not some people of color in America who invented things, blah blah
