You obviously didn't watch The Assassination of Gianni Versace. Poor Lee Miglin was tortured to death by having his throat sawed open. Among other gruesome acts. You wouldn't be laughing if you'd watched it, you'd be double locking your doors.

Well that was a free choice of yours. Nobody forced you to search for and watch Mexican drug cartel violence. Unlike me, who innocently went to Acapulco to walk in the footsteps of Jackie O and found the beach outside my suite being sealed off due to beheadings.

Some people are attracted to that sort of thing. I'm not, which is why I don't watch horror films.

I seem to recall you complaining about the street layout and how untrustworthy the cabbies were.

No - how untrustworthy I'd been warned they were. They were in fact absolutely lovely. At first I was scared to get in one, but I was soon flagging them down like they were going out of fashion, in perfect safety. I was amazed by the hospitality people showed.

In fact I had a beautiful experience there. There was a 3 year old boy who was a seller of single cigarettes. His gangmaster was a girl of about 11 or 12 and I'd seen her administering vicious beatings. 

As he sold his wares round a terrace I was on, I asked around to find out what he might earn in an evening. So I gave him the equivalent of 80 American dollars and bought him a bowl of chips and some ice cream. He fell asleep in my lap and I stayed there until about 2am, quietly drinking and smoking, watching over him. 

I had been due to meet a man for dinner and obviously didn't go. I didn't mind. When they couldn't keep the bar open any longer I gently woke him up. He gave me a lovely hug, and toddled back to his hellish life in the slums with at least 4x the cash he'd have made from working all night.

I should point out, I'm enjoying lounging about in my big fluffy dressing gown feeling sorry for myself while drinking lots of warm drinks and listening to the cricket.

Well then, as I said only this week to a woman I banged into in M&S 'alright then, I'm not fu**ing sorry'.

She, foolishly, crept up the aisle and stood, unannounced but practically back to back with me while I was surveying a fridge. When I had chosen my produce I walked back to turn and close the door, and there she was. I apologized (profusely) while she did not. As I walked away she started tutting very loudly and I thought to myself no, not having this.

Oh, I'm still suffering, head still spinz, nose dripping, headache, strange cold and hot spells, but I'm just making the most of it.

Feelz much better today. Just in time for monday.

Perhaps you could throw yourself down a flight of stairs? I did that due to a deadline I wasn't going to meet. I had to do it twice because I was absolutely fine after the first attempt.
