Seriously though, words can't fully sum up what a load of it was.

Well, they could, but I can't be bothered to use them to sum it up.

It's not an Evil Dead film basically - not Evil Dead, not Evil Dead II, not Army of Darkness and not even the 2013 tribute-esque remake.

A pile of tripe that cynically trades on the Evil Dead 'franchise' name whilst not bothering to even try to resemble any of them.

There's not even a Bruce Campbell cameo or reference.

That will have to suffice.

There's a pathetically over-emphasised 'swallowing an ejected eyeball' bit that fails entirely to capture even an iota of the anarchic, chaotic humour of Evil Dead II and a bit at the end that, literally without a scrap of irony or wry archness, features a lift filling up with blood and exploding.

It cost me nowt to DL but bandwidth, but I still feel short-changed.

Sam Raimi and BC should be somewhat ashamed of their role in this waste-of-space's creation.

Was it in 3D? The stuff you've described all sounds like it's meant to be seen in 3D.
