If you go to the site where the themes are hosted, https://en.hitskin.com/search-a-skin/0/p1/0/0/0/en/rate/desc

....then select a theme that you like, and paste this forum's URL into the theme's preview box, you can see the forum as it would look with the theme in question. For instance, https://hallofthewendigo.forumotion.com/?theme_id=208282

Then, if you always use that page to access the site, you can always see it with that theme.

This means you can see the forum with whatever theme you want to, whenever you want to.

However, I do feel that fancy themes quickly lose their novelty and that a forum's default theme is usually best, even if its colour scheme may need adjustment.

Are you sure you've ticked, "No," where it says, "Always notify me of replies :" in your profile?

Failing that, go to the, "Topics being watched," section of your Profile and remove any that are listed as being watched.

Failing that, go to, "Notification Types," and un-tick, "A new post in a watched topic."

Also, when you post a reply, using the big posting box, there's a little box beneath it that says, "Notify me when a reply is posted." Is it ticked? If so, un-tick it.
