In any and ALL events, despite the start of the commentary being a minor catastrophe, the album came in well within it's advertised running time.

Well, I can see why it's not an album I regularly spin on my decks. I really like aspects of it, but it just doesn't quite manage to pull together for the complete and regular listen.

Wonder what the later albums were like? Did the drop the house and go for quirky remakes of the famous one?

Beatz 'n groove-wise it was much more chunky and funky than I was expecting.

LMK's voice was a bit shonky on the first few tracks, but, as the album went on the music got more assertive and solid, her voice levelled out and worked better.

Ultimately, some tracks were adequately banging.
