Possibly the worst advert I have ever seen.

It can only really be Hovis. Which for years I thought was based in the north due to the sentimental but mournful music. It was quite recently that I found out it was Dorset.

I'd also add as honourable contenders..

Ferrero Rocher although I've always hated them. 

Esso with the lion, or some kind of big cat. Maybe it was a tiger - Eye of the Tiger rings a bell.

Mild green Fairy liquid.

Lynda Bellingham and her Oxo cubes.

Benson & Hedges lovely golden desert scene.

And on and on and on and Ariston, which pi**ed me royally off every time it came on.
