Ooh. There does seem to be a recent rise in Tina interest as I think there has been some sort of a new and detailed documentary film on about her.

According to that, she wore silver fringing (and no bra) to perform in Birmingham in 1970. Butterfields parents and grandparents would've been just a handful of miles away from the stage on the evening in question.

Tina's oft forgotten and overlooked 1986 album Break Every Rule was re-issued yesterday for the first time ever, now available as a double CD with B-sides and remixes for £12.99, and superluxury vinyl LP for £24.36. As it's my favourite Tina Turner album I cannot wait to buy it when it comes down to £2.99 sometime next year!
