Pogo sticks. They go like this but have you ever had one and have you ever ridden around on one? Maybe you use one to get to work every morning.

Here's where you can relate your pogo-related incidents.

I've never had one but I remember trying someone else's when I was young. I didn't like it. I couldn't stay upright.

I had a yellow one. I never had the energy required to use it for sustained periods but it came in handy when a crack addict burst into our flat - first to bar the kitchen door and buy enough time to call 999, and then to fight him off before the police arrived.

One of the policemen was very unsympathetic and suggested I had gone too far beyond mere self defence! Only his colleague stopped my being arrested. We did get an official apology from the borough commander who visited in person and was very nice.

I preferred my roller skates which were neon green and the laces decorated with bottle tops. I might get another pair of roller blades - they're fun and acceptable for adults to use. I miss it being socially acceptable to go on the swings at the park.

My friend had a pogo stick. I had a go. I couldn't do it.

And then she got this new.....I dunno what they were called - it looked like one football on top of another football, with a plastic rim around the middle. Sorta like a planet? You stood on the rim, with the top football between your ankles. And jump around. She made it look easy. I had a go on that and couldn't do it either.
