Critical response
The film received mixed to negative reviews, with one reviewer stating "This film is little more than 90 minutes of a poor attempt to be arty, and ends up being yawnsome and pretentious rubbish, not even worthy as filler on a late night freeview channels listings".

I've been finding EastEnders less appealing and more difficult to follow since it was cut to two a week to eke out existing episodes. 

I do think a Monday and Tuesday transmission was a mistake. 

Had it been up to me, I'd have made a big song and dance about it being 'returned' permanently to a classic Tuesday and Thursday transmission, and fought the BBC for a 9pm broadcast slot so more realistic language and more rounded plots could be shown when filming resumed. This would also allow the new Peter and the old Kush to have sex scenes.

The hiatus would also provide an opportunity to decide which characters could die from Coronavirus, and find some new writers.

Gogglebox is so addictive. I just love them all. I've never seen Ant and Decs Takeaway, or anything they've done since Biker Grove, which itself was nearly unbearable. So I could've done without that segment. 

The brother and sister are talking about dogging. A friend of mine was writing a book a few years ago that involved dogging, and she needed to research so we drove out to a country park in Kent. 

You should've seen the things we saw that night. Strangely it didn't feel at all unsafe and the doggers themselves all seemed very nice. We just chatted away and declined invites without a problem.
