She's right. I demand they rename themselves just, "The," from now on.

I have to admit that when I read that the Dixie Chicks were going to change their name for offensive reasons my first thought was that it was the "chicks" part that was the offensive word in question.

When I first heard his name probably in the mid 90s I presumed he was black, then was surprised years later to find out he was white and wondered how he came to have that name. I'm surprised it's taken this long to be honest.
