I thought that was a pleasant album, with surprising hints of Supertramp to it but that it didn't have anything about it that really leapt out at me. I think it was all a bit too relaxed for me.
Now to look back at the thread and see the sheer carnage what everyone else made of it.

I doubt very much he wasn't aware of the fact.
Toussaint was composing and recording in the '50s as Tousan,
