Re: Frank Chickens - We Are Frank Chickens (1984)

It's not on this album.

This is deffo the first Japanese band we've done an album of.
In fact, it might be the first album from anywhere other than Europe and North America.

Re: Frank Chickens - We Are Frank Chickens (1984)
From Disco-ogZ:
WAFC is a very catchy, eclectic offering, with a mixture of English and Japanese vocals, with ever changing tempers and tempos. There a even sleeve notes (remember them) explaining all the Japanese references.
It is a very polished affair, with lots of sing-along choruses.
I did see them at Glastonbury in the Theatre tent back in 1986 and was frankly besotted.
Expect to pay less than a tenner for this.

There's not really anything to like or dislike.

Hints of easy listening about this one. With a South American RrrrUmba feel.
Just a bit, errr.. lifeless.

North America.
:debatable:
Jamaica is a part of the continent of North America.
All of the Caribbean nations are.
Even Trinidad and Tobago, which is about 30 miles off the coast of Venezuela.

Oh, yes, Oceania.
I stand corrected.
Hardly a Maori Hakka band though.
