| That's right...the earliest sunset was a few days ago so the evenings are already drawing out but the latest sunrise is not till early Janurary..

| Such a depressing experience. A British spring is so ugly - mud instead of grass, chilly, bare trees, untanned people, and getting lighter and relentlessly lighter so there's no escape from how appalling it all is.
As an insomniac May and June are especially difficult. August is really when things become more reasonable as regards light. I love the heat - hotter the better. If not for that I'd be fine with the cosy feeling of breakfasting in the dark. |
