I genuinely put in 70 minutes of work from home this morning, and I replied to 2 different emails, so lots of people know that I was working hard on a Sunday.

This entitles me to turn up any time I like tomorrow morning.

What a luxurious feeling that would be if I didn't have to be up at 4.45 to exercise the car and go to Sainsburys.

I am now enjoying an hour's peace and quiet at home.

I'm working at home again.

It was a mistake. It's hotter here than it was at work yesterday. 31.9 C here in the back bedroom!

It's the last day before my holidays. I've tidied everything up, cleaned my cup, and now I'm bored.

I escaped! and am now at home, holidaying.

I'm the first person to arrive at work!

I've been able to make a cup of coffee without queuing up behind 7 other carbon blobs.

I'm working at home. I have secured the right to do so 2 mornings a week. I cunningly got that sorted before our new manager starts

Gosh. Golly. Goodness and good grief. Selling your labour is an absolutely shocking position to have to be in. Trade is grubby, as we all know. As grubby as it gets I would say. I hope you can find a heartfelt passion to contribute to humanity, with and for nothing more than a song in your heart, very very soon.

It occurs to me that one drawback of working at home is that, at this time of year, I have to pay to keep the central heating on.

This is the first winter I've experienced with Sean, who has the heating preferences of a millennial suburbanite. He woke me up to complain that his nose was frozen and that he couldn't feel his hands or feet the other week, so permission was given for the window to be closed, and my own heating has been on far more than is necessary. It's making me feel ill. I'm going through Egyptian Magic like it's going out of fashion to keep my skin well moisturised.

It's payday tomorrow!
