| They're not really succeeding in relating a sultry and er*tic memory very successfully. _________________ Have you ever seen a Squonk's tears?

| It is over. It was OK but nothing special. Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it. _________________ |

| Well, that was all inoffensive (other than his voice), yet rather unremarkable and unmemorable too. Fine for one listen.

| A (probably) generous ★★★☆☆ from me. It wasn't ever an overtly awful album and, on a couple of occasions, threatened to be actually quite good, but it was ultimately a load of songs that owed way too much to The Police of about 2 years beforehand propped up by the aforementioned surprisingly good songs and a couple of good rock-pop songs (that have obviously dated badly). I think the problem is that the whole album has dated badly. Even more than that dreadful 'surf-pop' rubbish we did the other day in fact. The production was markedly good however. _________________ Have you ever seen a Squonk's tears?
