| It may have been as a result of its juxtaposition with the vaguely nasty yet dreary previous album we did, but I really enjoyed that.
Indeed, I was quite delighted.
Perhaps even thrilled and uplifted.
The short-form format of an EP-floormat was quite perfect as well.
A full 30-40 minute long album would require them to plan things out more carefully (like, say, an Owen Pallett album), but I'm sure it's not beyond them, technically or artistically.
I can't really say anything negative about a record that combined John Shuttleworth, Gavin Bryars and archly hipster 'wave' stylings in one strident yet dainty 20 minute morsel of magic.
