I once accidentally stole a £6 bottle of wine from Sainsburys. I bought two, but I only scanned the first, and the nice self checkout lady came over and fixed the resulting 'unexpected item' error.

When I got home and realised, I didn't go back to that store for 4 weeks, in case they were waiting for me and caught me.

I'm already making the same surreptitious plans.

Shortly after lockdown (mid-to-late-March?) - and during the early period of panic-buying hysteria - I managed to bag myself a 9 pack of b*g roll from Aldi.

Of those 9 rolls, I still have 2 left. box

Yes, I've got all kinds of quilted nonsense 4-packs left over from my desperate trudging round the Co-ops circa March 20th.

And I'm still using the 9-pack that I had open when it all began.

I have a 24 pack that I bought online, once all the panic was over. I am saving it in case of future panics.

I'm most impressed by the quiche, because I don't know how much Converses normally cost.

I myself saved 65p this morning on reduced faux ham slices.

I did my weekly grocery shop today. It included 2 bottles of Tresemme (I forget if it's the shampoo or the conditioner). They had been €5.73 but were marked down to €2.87 each!
If I've understood the commercial I watched last night, said product will have me looking like Alesha Dixon in no time. yes

It's stedorlordendel! flower

I got some cheap sprouts from the Co-op this morning, reduced to 89p, but I can't remember what the original price was. They were delicious though.

I have put two USB fans under my radiator, to see if such a thing does indeed make your room feel hotter.

They have now been going for 30 minutes.

The room does seem to be warmer, especially at the far end but I don't have a thermometer.

Are you going to jazz it up with all nice nice toppings and serve it with an crispy salad? Excited

I bought an onion and put chopped onion on top, and extra cheese. And I served it with baked potatoes. And while it was cooking I had an hors d'oeuvre of sprouts which were left over from Friday.
