For some strange reason, I did actually know that Pauline Quirk had her own popular teenage magazine show on the telly.

Touched by the Aniston/Savalas connection. As a child, my grandfather used to wake me up in the morning with Kojac's 'who loves ya baby!' catchphrase.

The Gordon Hospital, before being repurposed as a nuthouse (where I myself once hammered on the door demanding to be either admitted to or arrested from - a Greek nurse let me in for a cup of tea and a two hour or so impromptu consultation), was founded and attractively known as the Western Hospital for Fistula, Piles and other Diseases of the Rectum gasp

You are the second person I know who reports having hammered on the door of a mental hospital demanding to be admitted.

They just said on Pointless that Greta Thunberg's mum was Sweden's Eurovison entry in 2009. gasp

They didn't bother choosing that option.

They had three categories about Sweden.

1) The Films of Max Von Sydow
2) The kings and queens of Sweden
3) Sweden's Eurovision entries

They chose The Exorcist for the first and made up two 'kings' as a blind guess (Olaf II, Olaf III).

They did not win the money.

I chose three Max Von Sydow fillums.

Hour of the Wolf
Hannah and Her Sisters
Exorcist II: The Heretic

All three were pointless. box

Oh, hard categories. I'd have been stuffed on all three. I think they've had a couple of Erics and a Karen, but would then be all out of knowledge - save for the Thunberg fact.

I might've picked their Eurovision entries hoping to coast through on stuff about Abba.

Gustavus Adolphus and Charles XII, they're the famous Swedish kings.

We'd just started studying them when I was moved from one A-level history group to the other, and I never found out what happened to them, I had to start doing Napoleon instead. Who to be fair I was more interested in.

Adam Rainer (1899 – 4 March 1950) was the only person in recorded history to have been both a dwarf and a giant.

In 1917, at age 18, he was measured at 122.55 cm (4 ft 0.25 in). A typical defining characteristic of dwarfism is an adult height below 147 cm (4 ft 10 in).

Then, likely as a result of a pituitary tumor, he had a dramatic growth spurt so that, when he died, age 51, he had reached a height of 234 cm (7 ft 8 in).

Why would anyone deliberately create an uneven surface? Some people have mobility issues, back problems, be in wheelchairs that it can't be comfortable to vibrate along a road, age related slowness combined with unsure footing, are wearing stilettos. Some may even be negotiating all of these at the same time.

Due to my own back spasm problem this time last year, I've developed a keen appreciation for dropped pavements and smooth surfaces.
