Re: Houses of distinction
I wish I was in Sardinia. The Isle of Wight just doesn't appeal to me, although I suppose I could finally check out Portsmouth.

That last picture can't be real, the street isn't jam packed with parked cars.

It's Tottenham. They can't afford cars.

Yes, it was a flippant remark, a tasteless quip. I like the houses, which is why I posted pictures of them. It would be an odd thing to sneer with admiration/admire by sneering. Use your brain, and I'll try to use mine.

In my experience, the poorer the inhabitants, the more cars there are crammed into every square inch of road space.

Obviously it'd need gutting. I'd slice off the kitchen to make another bedroom - while dispersing with the en suite down at that end too, do away with the utility room entirely to access and add to the (now galley) kitchen, and have the room that's currently marked as a bedroom (but used as an office) next to the master bedroom turned into a private sitting room.
That round master bed window would be a lovely place to apply make up in the mornings.

Re: Houses of distinction
Boy George's Hampstead Heath house, which he bought in the 80s, is for sale for £17m.

The house - named The Logs - even has its own Wikipedia page.

The comedian Marty Feldman lived at The Logs for several years.

Wasn't that in New York or somewhere?

Re: Houses of distinction
You're thinking of the cocaine possession/false burglary report/failing to turn up to court thing in 2005.
The radiator thing took place in 2007, presumably in the UK since he was tried in an English court.
Quite a smart move to do the assault here rather than the US, he might still be inside otherwise.

Oh I was thinking of that time he did the much publicised community service on the streets of New York.

Except according to Wiki dia he actually spent the whole time inside the Sanitation Department compound.
