It, like all their other albums is a curates egg of mediocre and predicable, lank 'dream pop', but it was also enlivened by 4 or 5 really wonderful songs that hit the target full on bullseye.

It is over.

I felt that was a record with perfectly good songwriting that was fatally undermined by the complete lack of emotional commitment in both vocals and instrumental performance. A producer who demanded things of them could have turned it into a genuinely good album.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.
