Jonathan King's new Genesis.

It's a proper song.
Sounds like it was written by the session saxophonist.

This was recorded using Paul McCartney's drum kit because he was also using the studio to record Wings' legendary McGear album at the time.

It is over. That was an album of many parts.
Too many parts!
They needed to keep it simple and let Eric Stewart do all the singing.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everyone else made of it.

10cc were a weird, frustrating band.
Too talented + too many parts + too many to-the-fore individuals + not enough/any creative restraint = lots of albums/about a dozen really good songs you love when they come on teh radio.
They're no Steely Dan that's for sure.
Steely Dan are brilliant.
BRILLIANT I SAY!

Re: 10cc - Sheet Music (1974)
I tried not to go down the rock critics cliche that they're a smug bunch of clever clever, ooh isn't Pop music simple, I'm so smart for noticing this,
But yeah, sorry I can't argue with that.
But at least they kept the songs short, and I quite liked the racist one. so two ★ from me. I dread to think what one of their bad albums sounds like.
