Icy cold weather these last few days. I've had to leave my heating on while I'm out at work, otherwise when I get home there's glaciers coming down the stairs and woolly mammoths trumpeting in the airing cupboard.

OK, just got back from the shops and...

That has to be the worst kind of weather eather!

Really windy, p*ssing it down and bitterly cold.

Absolutely horrific.

I had to carry a brolly and support my suspect shoulder bag in case it fell apart and my booze got all smashed and as a result my fingers were frozen numb. bawl

I saw that the freezing cold windy dry weather was forecast to turn into freezing cold windy downpour weather from 3pm onwards, which is why I went into town so early.

And it duly started raining at 2.45.
