Re: The Weather Thread
Icy cold weather these last few days. I've had to leave my heating on while I'm out at work, otherwise when I get home there's glaciers coming down the stairs and woolly mammoths trumpeting in the airing cupboard.

Re: The Weather Thread
I've been into town - it was fl*pping freezing with an icy south-easterly wind.

Re: The Weather Thread
It's raining as well now. But at least that isn't coming inside.

Re: The Weather Thread
OK, just got back from the shops and...
That has to be the worst kind of weather eather!
Really windy, p*ssing it down and bitterly cold.
Absolutely horrific.
I had to carry a brolly and support my suspect shoulder bag in case it fell apart and my booze got all smashed and as a result my fingers were frozen numb.

Re: The Weather Thread
You should live in the North. That's what it's like in July.

I saw that the freezing cold windy dry weather was forecast to turn into freezing cold windy downpour weather from 3pm onwards, which is why I went into town so early.
And it duly started raining at 2.45.

Re: The Weather Thread
Yes, sunny, and 9 degrees here.
Just as well as I have to go for the traditional pre-Christmas visit to see my Grandpa.
So, Wetherspoons lunches and heartburn all round then.

Re: The Weather Thread
It's a beautiful sunny morning here. There was no sign of the nightmarish storms I have heard about on the radio.
