OK, this is the man I bizarrely (quite likely drunkenly) described as an enigmatic one-man Beatles.

I would've'd forgotten all about that slightly histrionic quote - or indeed that I'd (quite likely drunkenly) started a thread about him.

The mithering, chippy, bottom half of his face looks the hat on top half, blatherskite.

Anyway, it's Stevie_Buttonz'z fault for reminding me.

So, it's time for me to see whether my drunken, addled brain can cash the checks its ass, er... writes?

OK, this is quite a nice album if I remember rightly.

The songs are pretty good and some of the lyrics quite sweet.

It's just so hard to like the man himself that it's like you want to hate his records. sad yes
