I get the feeling that the record company have decided to aggressively push the band in the USA in the John Hughes movie era.

There's another album, Midnight To Midnight, which is like this but more so, really fake and plasticky. But it does have the single version of Pretty In Pink on it.

My copy of MTM vanished when I was at uni - either I left it behind or my housemate stole it. I never bothered to get a replacement.
