Various holes in the pavement outside have mysteriously been outlined in orange spray paint.

This means that the council will come and fill them up just when I need to get the car off the drive to go to Sainsburys for organic yogurt, Bombay potatoes and vodka.

Take That should’ve stayed in the mid 90’s. I particularly hate that one they do - Shine, Rise, whatever it’s called. It’s unbearable. They’re so establishment now. I preferred East 17.

I forgot how unbearable Coldplay were until a current advert started using one of their most irritating tracks. Now it’s become a very unwelcome earworm. I’m waiting for it to go away.

I am actually going out much much later. There’s a building I like, and it’s being worked on. I’ve always wanted to see inside, so I’m going late in the hope access will be easy and unseen. There’s an asbestos warning sign, but I think they’re bluffing - it’s cheaper for them than an alarm system.
