Pipers at the Gates of Dawn or bagpipes just as you\'re off to sleep?

Yes, that was good, I shall explore their oeuvre further.

OK, it's a bit of a hard listen for those who aren't expecting it, but it's a genuinely seminal work.
It's not in any way influenced by any vaguely contemporary bands,
It's radically original.
It's genuinely weird.
It's brilliant.

I'll be drunk again tomorrow, catch me about 8pm and I'll probably go with it

It spans gentle psychedelic whimsy and hardcore freakout, free-form, jazz psych-rock.
It's truly visionary.
One of the very finest records ever realised.

I wonder then if being all p*****d up might not be the best state to appreciate it in.

I'm not doing acid again, it made me imagine Vikings all shouting in chorus when I was on a tube train.
Alcohol it is then.
Alcohol it is then.

I think we might be talking at cross purposes here. The best thing for The Final Cut is Quaaludes.

All I've got is vodka and/or Nytol. And the latter makes me feel like absolute sh*t the next day so I ain't touching it.

There're only two votes though.
Four listened.
I voted.
Wendi seemed to bail after it appeared that I insulted her.
She was the only seeming dissenting voice in a roiling ocean of drunken enthusiasm for for said elpee.
It was however a reference to a the Toc H Lamp and the expression "Dim as a...".

https://www.phrases.org.uk/bulletin_board/42/messages/1074.html
The trolling reference was more a self-deprecating comment on all the rest of us gushing so much.
Basically my 'humour' has backfired on me yet again and now I've upset someone.
Not just anyone (you lot) this time though.
Our dear leader, no less.

Also, you never voted for Badly's "Fish Food" album, ButtonZ.
But then again that might involve you having to listen to it in the first place.
