Burl Ives - Return of the Wayfaring Stranger (1949/1950).
This is it! Burl's masterpiece! An album with a higher fatality rate than World War One!
There are two versions of this album, one released in 1949 and one in 1960. They bear no resemblance to each other at all. This, I think, is the 1960 version, which pulls together recordings from 1949 and 1950.

There were two different albums called The Wayfaring Stranger released in 1944, he like playing games with record collectors.
