Apparently not.
The German girl in Cl*max is called Thea Carla Schøtt.
The one on the left BTW.

Re: The Psychedelic Furs - Made of Rain (31 July 2020)
It is over.
That is a far better album than one by a band of that vintage should be. However, I did feel it went on too long and started to become too much of a feat of endurance for me.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

B*gger me bandy with a sideways banjo.
There was a lot of record in there.
Too much?
Nah, don't be daft.
In all honesty I'd say that that's one of the most successful - :nay: triumphant - comeback albums of any old-f*rt unit from the post-punk/new wave era ever achieved.
Yes, maybe a bit long and swamped with slightly overbearing production, but any dull or weak moments were really few and far between and often a lull within a song would be redeemed by something - a key change or tonal baroquery - that was very pleasingly dark and gothy.
I really feel like the band, on resuming their discography and milieu, made a serious and conscious effort not to be sh*t.
I'm not sure I can give it anything less that cinq étoiles et les meilleures bananes.

That's why I bowed out early. To listen to Don't Believe 3 times. Full ★★★★★ from me.

I did - but I was rating it on the same basis as all their other albums. I didn't award any extra stars for 'not being sh*t after a 28-year gap'.
TBH nothing since Forever Now has rated more than 3 stars.
TSF ★★★★★
TTT ★★★★★
FN ★★★★★
MM ★★★★
MTM ★★
BoD ★★★
WO ★★★
MoR ★★★

It's turned up, so I'm back in!
I shall start on track 8, No-One.
Didn't he used to be the Troggs?

Drums. Phat sound. Been listening to much early 70s middle of the road stuff recently.

It sounds a bit like a good modern Simple Minds, like Moscow Underground, or, err.. that's it really.

Tiny Hands. Let me warm them in the microwave.
Piano. Fancy effect on the guitar.
