Throbbing Gristle - Heathen Earth (1980)
You get what you're given.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfBOC9Me-nU&list=PLMMTrEN3GJc67GP1Nmm3E1R6zlkmGnU1I
https://www.discogs.com/Throbbing-Gristle-Heathen-Earth/release/1228526
The original track-list stated only thus...
Side A
A1 - Untitled 26:33
Side B
B1 - Untitled 21:32
That has since been broken down (and IMO over-explained) into this as a track-by-track arrangement (Still Talking and Bass now separate tracks apparently).
1-1 Cornet
1-2 The Old Man Smiled
1-3 Improvisation
1-4 The World Is A War Film
1-5 Something Came Over Me
1-6 Still Talking
1-7 Bass
1-8 Don't Do As You're Told, Do As You Think
1-9 Painless Childbirth

ButtonZ I'm sure will disagree (apparently rating the skittish and patchy DOA top of the tree), but for me it's their best album.
Could make a good double bill with Liquid Gold or Randy Vanwarmer.

It's a good album, it's not a patch on err... some random one from 24 Hours of TG, live at Hat Fair, Winchester, or something. But it's alright for newbies. I guess.

I don't think Wendi will find this album as objectionable as 20 Jazz Funk Greats.

Re: Throbbing Gristle - Heathen Earth (1980)
Did I mention that time I saw a copy of painless childbirth, and didn't pick it up for 50p or whatever it was?
I must have? Ah, what the heck.
