Last track - Hours Of Darkness Have Changed My Mind.

I think there might be a semi-decent song in there, under the keyboards, flat production Lloyd Cole singing, and rubbish song.

"Hours of Darkness Have Changed My Mind"
Morrissey considers rewrite as title is too long

Doing this after Tom Verlaine was a mistake wasn't it?

It'd be interesting to hear a good singer do this song and find out what it really sounds like.

I do feel that last track would have worked if it had been done by a totally different band.

But it is over.
That was one long round of mediocrity, a singer who can't sing and sounds exactly like another singer who can't sing, a band that can play its instruments but has no ideas of any interest, and a string of songs that only seem to have one note in them.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Sort of Bob Dylanny.
It's probably the organ.

Pretty one-track though.

I can see the TV thing in the vocal stylings.

The Hammond organ is very conspicuous.

It's kind of just the same song.
