I don't really like the squeaky clean production however.

He effects a vocal style right between TV and Lou Reed.

If he could sing more proper and not effect that flat, bored tone the songs would be greatly improved.

It's getting more and more Lou Reed-esque as it goes on.

They're just plodding along like they don't care about whether anyone's getting bored or not.

Oh, is this the last track?
I lost track of time because I was having a pointless argument with the twattish son of the guy downstairs about his dog barking.

Re: Felt - Forever Breathes the Lonely Word (1986)
Are there actual noises on the ending of this song?
Or am I imagining it?
Is it just the combined effect of the dog barking and the neighbours dumb kid washing his Dad's car?
Or is just a bustle in my hedgerow?

Hey, I've just noticed the slight against Denim in the poll.
That guy is one of Britain's greatest failed rock geniuses.
His dub reggae version of the theme tune to Robin's Nest should be this country's national anthem.

You know that they were done by the bloke from Felt, as an ironic take on Brit-pop?

Although, having heard this album, I could well,
*that* > Forever Breathes the Lonely Word
*that* > Forever Breathes the Lonely Word
