Sournois, provocation subversive ou détritus français effrayants?
Re: Charlotte Gainsbourg - Charlotte For Ever (1986)
Ultimately however, despite the undertone of subversiveness and provocation, it's just bad sub-Sade '80s pop.

The Call of the Wendigo wrote:Track 3 - Oh Daddy Oh.
Look, for the record, Serge never laid anything other than a fatherly hand on Charlotte.
It s well documented and corroborated by all and every surviving parties.
It's not like Klaus and Nastassjia Kinski.
The whole thing was designed to outrage the French.
They made a movie called Charlotte Forever about the same time and it just exacerbated the outrage.

However, none of the mischief and subversiveness can redeem the fact that the songs are horrible.

This bit is the best bit of the album, so far.

This is the best track so far.
It probably will remain so.
Charlotte does a good job of imitating her dad with the "yes, forget me" bit.

And boring.
I can't even be bothered doing a 'relative boring' joke.
