Ira! or the Real IRA or the Continuity IRA or the INLA or the RNLI?

Not enormously thrilling a tune though.
It needs the raucous crowd.
It needs the raucous crowd.

Re: Ira! – Vivendo E Não Aprendendo (1986)
All don't shake
Every adolescence accepts
And my mind spins
And all illusion ends
A monster comes out of me
It is not good or evil
It's just indifference
It's just deadly hate
I don't want to see these ugly people anymore
I don't want to see the ignorant anymore
I want to see people from my homeland
I want to see people of my blood
Poor Sao Paulo
Poor paulista, Oh, Oh
Poor Sao Paulo
Poor paulista, Oh, Oh
I know I live in crazy utopia
But everything will fall into reality
Because I feel that things are coming up
It's just a time to rebel
Poor Sao Paulo
Poor paulista, Oh, Oh
Poor Sao Paulo
Poor paulista, Oh, Oh
He stopped, thought and came ... to that conclusion
Poor Sao Paulo,
Poor paulista, Oh, Oh
Poor São Paulo, poor paulista
Poor São Paulo, poor paulista
Poor São Paulo, poor paulista
Poor São Paulo, poor paulista

I think you might've needed to be there.

Re: Ira! – Vivendo E Não Aprendendo (1986)
It is over.
Basically, it's a Jam album remade by people without any kind of charisma or force of personality about them.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Well, after years of being fed some kind of mythology about the lead singer (Nasi) I was seriously underwhelmed by his vocal power and range.
The band and the songs lacked a clear identity too - new-wave-mod-indie-punk-rock?
I guess this is what happens when you give the natives from the colonies musical instruments, paintbrushes and the like...
Still, I didn't hate it.
Indeed I liked it more as it went on.

But what do you think about this picture off of the cover?

Sounds like a cross between the Jam and Thingy. Did Damn the Torpedoes, you know, him.

Pleasant enough, but it's not exactly blowing my head off with its energy.

Sounds like a remake of the first track only based on that Jam track where he shouts YOUTH EXPLOSION!
Whichever one that is.
