It is over.
It was OK. It did its job. Not good. Not bad. Just sort of efficient.

I liked it, not sure there's much need to a sound track when you can watch the film on demand on Netflicker or whateva.

It really needs to be seen/experienced watching the proper ending of the film.
For me it's like an entire phase of my childhood sweetly but agonisingly fading away into an irretrievable history.
The overriding and underlying message is so bittersweet it invigorates, albeit momentarily, the wounded butterfly of my soul.
Really, the movie version is better.

I confess that Down And Out's bit about Lady Luck being allowed to change her mind is one of the things I used to use to encourage myself in the darkest days of 1991-95.
