It's turned proper chilly. I had to put the winter throw on my bed last night. It is the first of three additional layers that I can deploy.

Also - for the first time since June - I'm regretting my decision to work in the big downstairs room. It's much draughtier than the back bedroom where I previously toiled.

It got awfully windy earlier. I feared for the safety of my chimneys. The last thing I want is 5 grand up my jumper for repairs just before I move out.

It was freezing last night. I had to deploy the second duvet, putting me at DUVCON 2.
