Sounds like something from '73.

It is over.
Even though it didn't exactly blow me away, I did prefer it to any other Lennon solo albums I've heard, as it was more positive in tone and wasn't totally swamped by Phil Spectorismness, allowing the songs to wear their arrangements more lightly.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I shall give it 3 stars.
Really, it's 3.5 stars but we don't have that option and giving it 4 stars would be too much.

For me ★★★.
I didn't dislike it much as I have in the past.
Perhaps it's the group listening experience?
Most peculiar, Mama!

It was much better than I was expecting, it's probably better than everything he did other than Yoko Ono Band or whatever it was called.
Yoko was quite a promising Nü Wave artist. The other guy does seem to be only capable of writing the same 5 songs over and over again.
I shall go, hmm... ★★★
