Even the slowed down drums at the end was like New Order.

It is over.
That was an acceptable album but a bit too gloomy for me. I could have done with an Love Cats or Friday I'm in Love on it.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Quite dull.
The Cure were never quite my cup o' java.
I lived in the parallel Joy Division/New Order universe.
Also, I'm not a girl.
New Order/Blue = boys.
The Cure/Pink = girls.

In descending order of shouldability:
Utter Madness - bit niche but it's my favourite compilation
One Step Beyond - well-regarded
Absolutely - absolutely marvellous
The Rise And Fall - might provoke tedious reminiscences from me about 1994 and getting sacked
Seven - ditto, except about 1997 and having a job
Mad Not Mad - stopgap
