| That one sounded much more '80s indie. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| This is the more chilled-out part of the album. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| Were the Stone Roses basically a Primitives rip-off band? _________________ |

It kind of reminds me of the Gruppo Sportivo album in that respect. Not musically obviously, but rather the sound and sophistication of the tracks has varied considerably. In the case of this album, it's like the it's got steadily more basic and under-developed - more demo-ey. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| It is over. I felt that was a very good album that probably had too many tracks on it but was consistently pleasing sounding and had the sense to throw in something odder whenever it was threatening to get too Poppy for its own good. Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it. _________________ |

| Well, that was OK.
Not really my thing, but it would be churlish indeed to say any of was bad or dislikable.
Perhaps a little musically basic, but quite ahead of its time in it's own retro '60s way considering all the guff that was to come in the next decade. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)
