I don't understand why they felt any need to either make that record or release it. It communicated nothing and expressed nothing.

Well, now you've heard Magma so you don't have to ever again.
Consider it a rite of passage.
They are exasperatingly OTT, but they're impossible to hate.
They simply are who they are - a bizarre, cultish band existing within their own cosmology unashamedly.
Nobody's making you listen to them.
Other than me that is.
