It is over.
That was a decent episode but with no real highlights.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I have to agree. New Kids on the Block's slow songs are horrendous.

And just up the road from Brocton, at Milford Common (which also adjoins Cannock Chase), is the dinkiest little retro Wimpy roadside kiosk, still in operation. I've been there a few times.
And here it is on Google Street View:

Also nearby is Shugborough Hall, home of Lord Lichfield. I went there on one of my first primary school trips.

You do. Their last song was in the charts recently, Touch Me, which featured the "singer" awkwardly miming to an Aretha Franklin sample.

Have you watched the other one that went out on the same day?
That's the same day it was repeated on BBC 4, not the same day back in 1990,

Yes, I walked along the bridleway past it. It supposedly figures in Tolkien's early work as 'the House of a Hundred Chimneys' as he would have walked past it on his way from Brocton Camp, where he was stationed in WW1, to Great Haywood where his fiance lived.
I must say I wasn't struck by anything unusual about the chimneys of Shugborough, I think the HoHC may have been a different house in Great Haywood itself

I didn't know about the Tolkien connection - with that area at all.

Ohh. I know all of them, but didn't know they were Stafford-related.
