Adriano Celentano ‎– Svalutation (1976)

Well, whilst not being the best album I've ever heard, that was indeed fascinating.

Occasionally very entertaining even.

It is over.

It was very pleasant but nothing about it leapt out and grabbed me.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Vorrei sapere = I'd like to know
Come fa la gente = How can people...
A concepire di poter vivere = Imagine to live
Nelle case d'oggi = In nowaday's homes...
Inscatolati come le acciughe = Crammed like anchovies...
Nascono i bimbi che han già le rughe. = Babies come to life already with wrinkles.
Perché la gente = Why people...
Non dice niente = say nothing...
Ai mister Hyde, ai dottor Jekyll = to those mH and dJ...
I construttori di questi orrori = builders of these horrors...
Che senza un volto fanno le case = And who facelessly build houses...
Dove la carie germoglia già = where the decay sprouts already

I shall give it 3 stars.

I liked that, but I think given the language barrier I was only getting half of it. but I like his voice, so…

His other albums sounded quite different by the way.

I feel like that, despite the double album kibosh and the accompanying panic and horror it brang*, a very interesting and entertaining curate's egg of Euro-oddity double bills was concocted this eve.

I put this down to collective genius.
