As a matter of fact, it's all overrated
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon (1973) Quadraphonic Mix
I've never thought this was a particually good Pink Floyd album, even when it was before the time it was the BEST FLOYD ALBUM EVA. I've always had a soft spot for the Quad mix. And we need to finish doing all the albums that came out in 1973, apparently.

I prefer the version with all bits of broadcasts and noises instead of the singing on 'Great Gig'.

Malcolm Muggeridge FTW!
And the early versions of Any Colour You Like
They'd blanded it out to nothing by the time they recorded it.

It's the released version that got re-jiiggered, and they dubbed more bits in, like the Ussssss UUSSSS and Themthem them them only in time to the music, and it's the only vision of that song that I can stay awake through.
Spoiler alert there, incidentally.

I have the Quadraphonic version
But only the SQ system as I could not afford the, at that time, very expensive CD4 discrete amp.

SQ and CD4 are like totally different and a CD4 LP wouldn't 4 way matrix on a SQ system, or visa-versa.
Or a QS one,

Yes I was not weatlthy enough to get a CD4 system....There was another as well...UD4.
I seem to remember a very expensive Amp that had decoders for all 4 systems.
