Re: Roy Harper - Stormc*ck (1971)
The killer part...
What a lovely day
What a day to play at living
What a mess we make
What a trust we break
Not giving our wings to our children
O how we fail them
O how we nail them
What a lovely day
What a day to play at living
What a mess we make
What a trust we break
Not giving our wings to our children
O how we fail them
O how we nail them

Re: Roy Harper - Stormc*ck (1971)
Sunset my colour
And king is my name
Darkness she's my lover
And we live in shame
And king is my name
Darkness she's my lover
And we live in shame

Y'know, I never made that comparison.
It's true.

Re: Roy Harper - Stormc*ck (1971)
It is over.
It was all pleasant enough but the tracks were shapeless, went on too long and were too samey.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Magnificent.
Scarcely bettered by anyone or, indeed, any thing.
One of the ten-or-so best albums ever realised.
Harper's creative apogee.
