Re: The Weather Thread Part 4.
I don't know what the late afternoon was like, I was enjoying a little siesta. Waking up this early evening feels like being on holiday, but with no pool nearby and no relaxed restaurant to drift into.

I've opened up a window, not sure it's helping.

Re: The Weather Thread Part 4.
About an hour and a half ago, I risked opening the window in my spare room.
When I checked the room, 45 minutes later, I came to the conclusion that the open window was letting the heat in, and closed it again.

Also, the air that was coming in didn't smell good.
It sort of smelled of burning.![scared](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/3218000624.gif)

Just had a nice cold shower after my midnight walk. Both very pleasant.

Re: The Weather Thread Part 4.
Even at 5am it was still 22 C here.
I slept downstairs on the settee because it was cooler. I slept quite well, considering.

It feels noticeably warmer this morning than it did yesterday morning. ![bawl](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/540545940.gif)

That's 102 degrees Fahrenheit.
It always sounds so much hotter when you use Fahrenheit.![bawl](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/540545940.gif)

Now 37 degrees.
I've just been out in it, for five minutes.

Re: The Weather Thread Part 4.
There were a bunch of people stood at the nearest bus stop. I hope they had plenty of water with them.

Re: The Weather Thread Part 4.
I've actually had to close my bedroom window as, although there was a decent breeze blowing through the bijou mini-flatlet, said breeze was like dragon's breath.
I'm now relying on the AC completely and even that's having a slightly underwhelming effect.
All-in-all I'm a bit disappointed in this purchase - it's not much more than a glorified fan really.![Colbert](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/586931285.gif)

Re: The Weather Thread Part 4.
I've had the curtains closed and the windows shut, all through this. Thanks to me having lots of insulation, it's been warm but comfortable indoors.
My special tip for coping with temperatures is to fill a bottle with cold water and hug it.
