The wind has suddenly picked up to mild roar.
Every leaf in every tree has begun rustling like a mad b*stard and the massed flocks of gulls have gone eerily quiet.

I seem to have coped absolutely fine with no A/C, the windows and terrace doors open, an extra glass or two of water, a restorative afternoon siesta, and the enjoyment of a midnight walk. My thoughts are with manual labourers and the elderly.
