Ohh. I'd heard he wasn't exactly in a great way. I thought he was part of the Wu Tang Clan but it appears he isn't. I think I only know one song by him.

I actually think that DMX had beef with various members of the Wu.
Maybe Rae and Ghostface.
They always seem to have a problem with someone.
Might've been a Nas thing.

Nikki Grahame off of Big Brother VII has died aged just 38.

I'd stopped watching Big Brother by then but knew about her. I saw pictures of her a few weeks ago looking very, very thin.

When Wendo and I were doing the running commentary earlier I noticed some rubbish on the Youtube sidebar before about the X-Factor's 'best bits' and it made me think of all the times they (mainly ITV and C4) put people with mental illnesses and/or learning difficulties on telly to laugh at them.
She was one of them.
Arguably the most neurotic person I've seen on TV or anywhere.
That said, she was occasionally very very funny and, despite her overbearing, shrieking, raging ID, I was weirdly fond of her.
I feel quite weirdly sad.
Sadly weird?

The (relatively) good thing though is that the nation (well, a few million people) took these people to heart, with some of them winning these shows, like Gareth Gates and that guy with tourettes on Big Brother. On one hand these shows gave them a platform they perhaps wouldn't have otherwise had, but on the other hand half of them can't cope with the newfound fame - or lack of it a year or two later.
Then there's the ones who were genuinely rejected and mocked in front of 20 million people.
Discuss.

I saw them at an Essex Uni gig many years ago, it was a brilliant night, all the songs were thrashed up, the band stopped the gig because stuff was getting thrown, I was wrongly accused of throwing stuff, band started again.
They were great.
They were great.
