It is over.
That was a strange record. It started out all Funky and groovy and something I could to but then it started to devolve into a strange and increasingly pointless novelty record before, at the death, saving itself by rediscovering the Meekness it had hinted at earlier.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Well, that was fun probably hearing it all the way through for the first time ever - and yes, I knew the first tracks from side 2 better than the rest of the album.
At least a couple of the more ordinary tracks could have been left out (Hello Dolly was more like a Blackpool Wurlitzer) but at times I thought it was great and rather unique. Initially I couldn't decide between awarding it 3 or 4 stars, but for me the nostalgia value takes it up to 4 stars.

Well, that was more-or-less exactly as I expected it to be.
Quite frantic (mostly), entertaining (generally), overly silly (frequently), a bit annoying (occasionally), but harmless fun (entirely).
Also, despite the silly 'have a banana'/'whoops, missus!' sound effects, there was something of genuine worth in it - in terms of it being a showcase for the marvellous and magnificent Mohg.

I agree with all of this.

I seem to remember the plop, burp and f*** sound effects were rather amusing to me as a child - and probably the general listener in 1970.
