I'm always very moved by this song.
It reminds me of departed friends of mine.![sad yes](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/2158945485.gif)

It is over.
Apart from the guitarist, it was very lacklustre.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.![Excited](/users/3715/63/33/29/smiles/4075307247.gif)

Over.
I think I prefer their more typical stuff to be honest. Shame they seem stereotyped as the Boys Back in Town/JailBreak boys.

Re: Thin Lizzy - Nightlife (1974)
It's a wonderfully disarming album - soulful, bluesy (but with a twist) and with the occasional rock-rocket up the arse.
It's also entirely cool as chuff.
The band are outstanding - especially the rhythm section - and Phil Lynott's vocals are a joy.
It probably doesn't quite merit top marks, but I'm going to give it top marks anyway, cos other so-called 'people' will'v'd inevitably downvoted it.

Departed Irish friends specifically. :leprechaun:
